Clause Nine – API
CNPJ.ws offers a free query mode, called Public API, and a commercial mode, called Commercial API.
Queries made through the Public API do not generate charges and can be made by any user, without the need to register on the CNPJ.ws site. Queries made through the Commercial API are allowed after subscribing to a monthly service package. Subscriptions generate monthly charges according to the chosen package and make available to the user's account a monthly usage quota of database queries and a quota of queries that require data updates. This monthly usage quota, if not used, is not cumulative for the next billing period. Prices and conditions may vary without prior notice, being valid the one established by the CNPJ.ws site at the time of subscription.
The use of the Commercial API is carried out through registration on the site and the generation of an access token. The responsibility for the security and access control of the password to access the site and the generated token lies with the user, with CNPJ.ws being exempt from responsibility in case of misuse. CNPJ.ws reserves the right to block access to the API of any user at any time for suspected misuse of the system, use of false data, non-payment, or any other reason considered offensive. By making queries through the Commercial API to obtain data, you agree that any data updates resulting from these queries will be made available through the Public API. The data returned through the APIs can only be used for the user's own benefit, and any commercialization through other sites or any other means is not allowed.
Clause Ten - General Provisions
If any clause of this agreement is considered null or invalid, it will not affect the validity of the remaining clauses of this contract, which will remain valid and in full force in accordance with its terms. This contract may be modified by CNPJ.ws, upon notification to users, establishing that the use of the site constitutes acceptance of the amended clauses. This is the entire agreement between you and CNPJ.ws regarding the site and its services. This contract prevails over any prior statement, discussion, interference, communication, or advertisement related to the site and its services. CNPJ.ws makes its best efforts to keep the site updated, secure, and error-free, but you use it at your own risk. CNPJ.ws provides the site as it is without express or implied warranties. Any and all claims, doubts, or suggestions about CNPJ.ws or these terms will be made through the email contato@cnpj.ws.
Clause Eleven - Subscription
The user's subscription will continue until it is canceled. To use the service, the user needs to provide a valid and acceptable payment method, which may be updated periodically, and which may include payment through your account with third parties. Unless you cancel the subscription before the billing date, you authorize us to charge the subscription fee for the next billing cycle using your payment method.
The price of the service subscription and all other charges incurred by the user in relation to the use of the platform, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged according to the chosen payment method. The duration of the billing cycle will depend on the type of subscription chosen when the user subscribes to the service.
If a payment is not successfully made, due to expiration, insufficient balance, or any other reason, and the user does not cancel their account, CNPJ.ws may suspend their access to the platform until it can charge a valid payment method and, at its discretion, cancel the subscription. After payment, the user will have the full balance of queries, but the expiration date of this balance will remain the same, so they will have a shorter period to use the queries.
The user can cancel their subscription at any time and will continue to have access to the platform until the end of the billing period. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, payments are non-refundable and do not offer refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods. If the user has subscribed to CNPJ.ws indicating a payment method through third parties and wishes to cancel their subscription, it may be necessary to cancel it with such third parties.
CNPJ.ws may change subscription plans, plan prices, as well as access or quantities of any specific features of each plan such as credits, limit rates, and costs per query without prior notice.
Only after payment confirmation will the service invoice be issued for the services provided.
Clause Twelve - Jurisdiction
The parties elect the Court of the District of Sorocaba, State of São Paulo, to resolve any issues arising from this contract, with the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be.
